I guess there are similarities, but ordinarily I prefer Fripp, and I think his work on Fashion and other songs from Scary Monsters is some of his best ever.

The reason this sounds like Talking Heads is the distinctive guitar sound of Robert Fripp who also played on Talking Heads album Remain In Light which also came out in 1980.
